I also drink my coffee over a few hoursπ
Please talk more about your film career in future episodes. Very interesting. We are the stories we tell of ourselves β€οΈ
Here's the conversation which included the One-Hour-A-Day Plan for getting things done:

I dont see the point of spending all that time going thru this box if you dont even remember these people. I believe that the people that are important to you, you will spend time and keep in contact. Lay up treasures in Heaven not here on earth.
Wish you the best with your decluttering Kaye!β€π
It will be liberating once you start getting rid of stuff. You could ask a local school if they can use cards to cut up for craft projects
Also make sure youhave a trash can near you for the toss pile.
Good Morning Miss Kaye !!! Beautiful day out today ! Been there ! 2008 & 09. During the housing bubble. Had a store & lost many contracts on supplies business just bottomed out. Had been fighting custody battle for 6 years. Lost my house & everything. I sold everything I could before foreclosure for quick cash. Surprised at just much I made. Filed bankruptcy. That's when I left the system ! Going through everything though was difficult ! Memories & family heirlooms. Very valuable antiques. Just had to let it go. I went to Idaho to a aunt I had never met. What time I had. 250 acre ranch . worked for to get back on feet. Went to Bozeman Mt to work & another adventure at that. I worked in Yellowstone National park for 2 years! All over western Montana ! I've lived off grid all these year's till now. I had nice motor home & an old truck when I left florida. Me , my daughter & sister all live here on 3 acres. Unrestricted deed ! I have cabin in the back. Like you I've thought many times lately of the past.
Thanks for the brief glimpse of your life down memory lane. The memories and pictures of your prior/current life make decluttering and downsizing so very time consuming that many people just don't do it and then their children are left to decide. Moving forces you to decide what's still important and what's not but it is still not easy. Books are my downfall as are every kitchen gadget you can think of and more. Hope you get thru some of your boxes and have a blessed week my friend….
Is Kaye based??!!
I hope so.
The media and democrats have been so mean and unfair to our President.
I wish the people who hates him could see thru the lies. Because they Are lies.
The media has divided the nation with the help of democrats. Itβs not fair or right.
PS: My grandmaβs name was Mabel π
No one prepares us for this stage in life. When our memories and "treasures" from past mean so much to us and nothing to anyone else. I have been reminiscing about the past here of late. I just have a difficult time understanding how our society has gotten to this point.
I think our generation has dropped the ball..π’π’π’
I was never a card saver. Same for all the handmade pictures my kids made in school. I saved one or two handmade items that my kids made for me over the years, but the rest went bye-bye a very long time ago. I cleared out a lot of stuff when moving from Ohio to Texas. I went from a 1200 square foot townhome (with full basement), to an 800 sq ft little cottage (no basement) when I moved and knew that most of my things would never fit. Sold, or gave away a lot of my furniture and bought new when I got here. Still downsizing even today. I don't want to burden my kids with having to go through my stuff when I pass.
When I was in my 30s, I had accumulated a huge collection of pictures from magazines, postcards, greeting cards, etc. There were pictures of people, animals, mountain views, beach scenes, all of them, unique, and interesting to look at. I decided to use them to decorate my bathroom. I made a collage that covered all the wall space in the bathroom. There were hundreds of pictures to look at. When visitors went to my bathroom for the first time, I knew it would be a while before they came back out. It looked really cool.
Hello there, kaye. It's definitely good to see you. Oh! My goodness me,oh dear. I know how you feel about your boxes. Well i too have a good friend she tells me to take a bit of time, time and do what I can in that time with just sorting one thing, not all over the place. π well i try ,i try again. I dont know if i shall ever be sorted. .oh! I do know that we have people who like us to donate our unwanted greeting s cards. Christmas ones too. They cut bits out and recycle by makeing more cards with yhem, then selling on a stand in the church for charity. its a lovely Thing to do. Also i try to make gift tsgs with cutting out little pictures or letters from he cards. Same with calenders. . This is sll fun but time-consuming, kaye π . I have to make an effert like you, im actually happy to know im not the only one. No excuse for me though. I have some cards which i definitely feel special from dear friends. My friend who passed away 2 years ago soon, i keep those. I peg some on a string to hng on the wall ,the chicken π and animal cards especially. Flowers too. .my grandchildren Always have something to talk about when at the table π. they can see on thd walls. πim certainly hoping kaye that you manage that box today, i shall watch more after my mesl, xxxthank xxthankyou kayexxx. π
