ARLEY Hall is set to host a vibrant event for garden and craft enthusiasts.

The 2026 festival promises to be bigger and better, with the introduction of show gardens and feature gardens.

Arley Garden Festival is taking place on June 27 and 28 and is a great opportunity for budding designers to gain experience in garden design, especially with the absence of the RHS Tatton Flower Show and the cancellation of the Shrewsbury Flower Show.

The Cheshire WI will be showcasing their crafts in their own marquee, adding a touch of creativity to the event.

The head gardener, Gordon Baillie, will be leading garden tours throughout the day, which are included in the ticket price.

Visitors will also have access to the hall and gardens, with free parking available.

Dedicated plant nurseries and high-quality garden accessory traders will be present, along with experts from the Professional Gardeners Guild to answer any questions.

A programme of talks and demonstrations will also run throughout the day.

The countryside marquee will offer insights into wood carving and chainsaw carving, and provide information about the Cheshire Wildlife Trust, Lower Moss Wood Rescue Centre, and the Mid Cheshire Beekeepers.

The Cheshire Guild of Wood Turners will also be present, offering a chance for families to try their hand at wood turning.

Animal Teach will be returning with a hands-on experience, featuring over 30 species of animals and invertebrates.

A fun dog show, organised by Tails Animal Rescue based in Northwich, will also be part of the event.

The event is described as a great family day out, with children’s entertainment including face painting and a playzone with a zip wire, willow domes, and a picnic area.

Food outlets will offer a variety of treats, including brownies, pies and pasties, chocolate, rum and gin, preserves, and cheese.

The Grasmere Gingerbread shop will also be present.

The Gardener’s Kitchen Café will provide a marquee on the showground where visitors can enjoy a lunch of sandwiches, cakes, hot food, and drinks.

The event will also host a Schools Gardening Challenge, inviting local primary schools to plant a raised flowerbed with some plants grown by the children themselves.

Creative Crafts will host a large selection of high-quality gift and craft traders in their own marquee near the entrance.

The Wabash Jazz Trio will entertain visitors as they arrive, with the Lymm Concert band playing in the afternoon and Street Jazz performing all day in the Stable Yard.

The iconic English Lotus cars will be outside the hall on Saturday, and the elegant Morgan cars will be on display on Sunday.

Tickets are priced at £22 for adults if pre-booked online, or £26 at the gate.

Children’s tickets (ages 4-16) are £6 if pre-booked, or £8 at the gate.

A 10 per cent discount is available for annual pass holders.

Groups of 15 or more can purchase tickets at £22 each.
