Chapter 1 — FREE Mulch Find
Corry and I came across a pile of free mulch and stocked up for the garden. With the size of this expansion project, every free resource helps 😅
Chapter 2 — Bucket Reset + Planting Seeds
I cleaned out the bucket rack containers and refreshed the water reservoirs to get everything ready for the season. Then I planted:
Nasturtium seeds
Fennel seeds
Chapter 3 — Cardboard + Mulch Along the Fence
I laid cardboard and mulch along the fence line where the:
Pole beans
Squash
Cucumbers
are planted to help with weed control and moisture retention.
Chapter 4 — Lowe’s Trip + Future Garden Ideas
We made a Lowe’s trip and talked through future ideas for the garden expansion and landscaping plans.
🌿 Next episode: replacing plants that didn’t survive, adding peppers and onions, and finally planting the blueberry bushes.
