Hi Daphne 👋🏾👋🏾. Look into planting ground covering plants at the bottom of the wall. Ice plants, Trample-me-not, creeping Myrtle are some that I have in zone 7b. Once established, move it to your flower beds to avoid spreading mulch. Love your design!❤

I love your videos and absolutely love your new wall. I have tire walls that need to be replaced and your masonry is a great choice. I’m so happy you’re doing videos again I really missed you and your great ideas.
I also installed a two-tier retaining wall on my front slope near the street. I love mine! Yours is beautiful! You're really going to love this new planting area. It's so fun and so easy to design. I installed a few evergreens and played around with different annuals for a few seasons as those grew into mature size. Now I'm adding perennials and hoping to finalize a design that doesn't require a lot of planting….just some pruning.
I love the retaining wall. I love the grasses on the bottom layer. That was my thought also. ❤

Gorgeous but one of the pavers on the right top looks like it is cracked. Maybe not but just looking like it to me. I'm sure you would have seen it by now though if it were. This is so beautiful!!! This was the best investment you could have made, hands down! That rocky slope was too much and girl we know you tried, but they did you righttt!! Some things are best left to the professionals! And The symmetry and calmness of the Carex is on point!
