Recently I noticed the leaves on my pothos started having these holes, they aren’t on every leaf just on a couple, and I’ve checked for bugs but there aren’t any (plus I live in an apartment on the 5th floor), does anyone know what these holes are from?

Looks like mechanical damage to me, do you have a cat?
This usually happens to leaves when they are new, they get stuck unfurling which causes the holes. It’s because the humidity is low in the area they’re in. Do you have a humidifier? Misting them helps too, or a pebble tray with water! 🙂
