Disgusting pictures of rubbish strewn all over Kirklees communal gardens have been shared by the local authority.
Kirklees Council teams have shared images online of fly-tipped rubbish dumped outside. The council shared a message for residents, assuring them that they’re aiming to clean up in the community.
Their Homes and Neighbourhoods department works with tenants, residents, local councillors and frontline teams to help the community. They source what needs to be sorted and put it into an Estate Action Plan – which determines what problems need addressing in the community.
Sharing the images of the mess, Kirklees Council said: “Estate Action Plans are live. Our Kirklees Homes & Neighbourhoods teams have been listening to what you have to say about your estates and taking action.
“Working with partners, we want to clear up any rubbish in communal gardens or fly-tipping, tackle anti-social behaviour, support with creating strong communities and address any concerns you may have.”
