I bought a philodendron green congo nuclear and counted six plants in the pot (there may be more, they're growing very densely). Do I have to divide it into several pots? What's the maximum number that can be planted in one pot? Is it better to wait until the leaves unfurl or can I repot it right away?

I'll definitely treat it and quarantine it)

These plants typically grow densely, so should be fine to keep together. I always repot my plants as I usually don’t like the soil they come in especially if you get them from a nursery that is outdoors usually have soil for the outdoor conditions. I know some people say to wait so it can adapt to its new environment but to be new soil is just part of that new environment and have never killed a plant due to repotting. You can separate them if you want more plants or keep them together to have a bushier look. I like to search up how the plants grow in the wild to better understand how I can recreate that environment in a pot. Man made plants i also look into how they’re origin plant survives in the wild
Also this is a self heading philodendron
