I knowwwwwww they are notoriously difficult. I killed three in my previous space (the apartment did not have enough light or humidity), but I thought we could start over together in the new house. Only distilled water – I do the best I can for my dependents. Well draining soil with some lava rocks on the bottom and top (repotted by the shop when I purchased), and of course there’s a drainage hole. The humidity is good with being in the bathroom and general spring weather, but is there possibly too much light? Why is she so damn crispy?! I WANT HER TO LOVE ME

They prefer wider shallow pots so they can spread, . They like bright indirect light, Direct sunlight can scorch the leaves. I potted mine in 50% potting soil , 25% perlite & 25% coco coir and she loves it. Maybe you need better soil, This plant produces underground stems ( rhizomes)that grow horizontally below the soil surface & send up baby plantlets, Wider pot without the rocks on top might be better.
This is a stromanthe triostar. It loves humidity and bright indirect light. I bottom water mine and have a humidifier nearby. You can tell when she needs water when the leaves curl.
