  1. I'm not sure this should be done under stone fruit trees as they are more likely to get bacterial infections. I planted lavender and chamomile under my cherry trees tondonexactly this, and they both caught a bacterial infection… gummosis.

  2. Last Autumn I completely dug up my extensive strawberry bed and replanted them all under my small fruit trees.

    I turned the old strawberry bed space into a new raised bed for growing melons up string supports to take advantage of the only fully sunny spot in my veg garden. The strawberries are now away from the slugs and all are flowering beautifully.
