lol yeah. Does it bother you? It doesn’t affect some people. I never had a problem with it until just recently. Then I broke out a bit. 🙄

  2. Calathea_Murrderer

lol yes babe. Leaves of three let it be

It’s also giving, if not *SCREAMING* anacardiaceae*

    Fun fact:

Poison ivy can be a ground cover, a vine, or a stand alone vining shrub. Sometimes all there in the same area!! :3

You have at least 6 hours to wash the oils off. At least I do when I’m exposed.

  5. selgindren

Why are you holding it with your bare hands 😭

  6. chillpilldealer

I would like to hear an update three days from now to see if you get a rash from this.

I’ve also touched it and not gotten a rash before, but after a lil bit of reading it seems like that might not last forever. 😅

  7. CoupleImpossible8968

Uh, yeah. Why hold it with bare hands?

I have been in poison ivy my whole life with no reaction until a few weeks ago. I’m in my 30’s and have poison ivy legitimately head to toe from pulling it out of my backyard 3 weeks ago. Moral of the story is I’d wear protection when dealing with it even if you’ve never had a reaction. As I found out the hard way you can develop a sensitivity to it out of nowhere. I’ve been on steroids for 13 days and it’s still not letting up lmao

Rubbing it all over your face and genitals is the only way to know for sure.

  10. thechilecowboy

Hopefully you washed your hands WELL before heading to the loo. Poison Ivy reacts a bit differently on the…sensitive bits. Great Googly Moogly that was uncomfortable! I was on steroids for 12 days.

I hated that stuff growing up. I was out in the weeds and farmland near our home all summer. Because it is hot and humid in Oklahoma I would wipe the sweat from my face and my face lit up badly.

If you’re sure then why are you touching it?

  13. BootScootNBoogie22

I have it right now. Get it 3x a year

thank goodness you’re holding it in your bare hand lol

I put on plastic gloves and pull up those suckers-they are an invitation to an expensive MD bill and a week of steroids for me. I did not use to be sensitive to the plant.

This is Poison Ivy. Holding it on their hand

  18. EmploymentNo3590

    Pretty sure it’s a tree

  21. ThisChickSews

Well, you’re touching it. You’re about to find out if you are allergic or not. Don’t touch anyone else, go wash with good grease-cutting soap and wash your clothing in hot water. Shoes too.

  22. PitchforkPlebeian

I have poison ivy right now. I have a very wooded yard and my dogs get it in their coat and end up spreading the oil on me sometimes. I’m very reactive to it.

  23. KiraKitty69

Are u guys serious? I’ve been allergic for 50 plus years and whatever plant I thought was poison ivy is not that. Well that explains why I’m always breaking out while weeding, I’m probably grabbing ivy then touching my face then whining about the impending shot I have to get so my eyes don’t swell shut.

  24. Complex_Biscotti_961

Then why are you touching it??????????????

  25. SamuelHuzzahAdams

First thought: WHY ARE YOU HOLDING IT

  26. Financial_Employer_7

Doesn’t poison ivy have a “thumb” like a mitten ? These leaves are symmetrical

  27. QueenJamieeeee

So wtf are you just out there raw dogging it with your bare hand???
