Same soil, same water. Anyone know why this might happen? Seems perfectly healthy and growing strong.

    Possible genetic mutation. Sadly it can’t photosynthesize very well so it will just die

    Cull. You are not evil for selecting the strongest, the strongest make the best fruit. Collect the seeds from those fruit. We sprout the seeds and select the strongest. The strongest make the best fruit. This is the cycle.

    Not all seedlings make it to fruit and that is ok. As someone with a tender heart it was a process getting used to giving up on something I spent so much time nurturing and caring for. This is just the way. I simply thank them for their potential and send them to the compost pile.

    My friend the amount of yellowing squash (that are yellow squash) I have this year is wild. Early prolific and Dixie both yellow before their first support flower. I hope you have some better luck soon
