Hello all, I've got some blackberries that have wildly established themselves in my yard. I'm starting a food garden and wondering if it's possible to transplant them where I actually want them? They're laying all over a stone wall I need to clear. Thanks!

Tbh I would wait until they’re done fruiting for the year or they may not this year unless you don’t care about fruit this year, which works if you just need to clear the space.

No need to transplant, just cut some tips of the new stems that go straight up out of the ground (no flowers) and stick them in your beds. Within a few weeks you should have a few bushes if you plant 2 cuttings per desired plant. It won’t make fruit until next year though

Put out some dirt pots and stake a cane tip into them. They’ll be rooted before the end of the season. Replant them in the fall or spring where you want them.
