My neighbor told me deer keep eating his arborvitaes so I asked how many arborvitaes he has and he said he just goes to the nursery and gets a new arborvitae afterwards so I said it sounds like he’s just feeding arborvitaes to deer and then his daughter started crying.

I know we’ve kicked the deer enough already. Instead I just wanted to share that I used to have a pet goose. We had a laser line in the back yard with lush green vegetation above and absolutely no green down below.

Yeah, those are like candy for deer. In a bad winter when the snow piles up they eat anything they can find including yew and rhododendrons which they normally wont as well as venturing into yards they normally wouldn’t. My yard was hit hard this winter so getting cheep 4ft fencing to wrap in front of gardens in the front of the house like yours. Will be a little ugly but better than the plants being picked clean.
Feed them corn for 6 weeks.

Get you some nitrogen spikes cram one at the base of each tree. I used to take my hair after a cut and spread it around my pot plant to keep the deer away. It worked. Also I pissed around the tree too… also you probably have neighbors so may wanna pass on the urine treatment lol
