After seeing all the posts this week of everyone’s gorgeous wisterias, I had to go get one! Can I plant it in the ground there? Or should I plant it in a pot? Any advice welcome, as I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing.
Hoping one day it can be wrapped over my front door 🤞🏼

I’ve seen loads of those mini ready-flowering wisterias this week! Haha.
Nothing to add as I’ve never grown one but just popping in to say I’m glad they’re in fashion.
Commenting to see what answers you get as I’ve also had envy and am thinking of getting one!
Are there any drains nearby?
Have you investigated the soil under the stones?
Have you got a wire support system ready to fix to the wall so the Wisteria has something to be trained onto?
Is that South or West facing?
Are you prepared to train and prune it multiple times per year?
We had one like that last year. Nothing this year.
