The soil is kind of moist like a centimeter down. Tried brighter and less bright spots, but it keeps getting drier in the leaves. I can’t figure out if it’s overwaters or underwatered, but I think because the leaves are so dry it’s underwatered? Right now it gets lots of afternoon light. The pot has drainage, and I was watering about once a week.

Those leaves look so crunchy that it makes me think they’re completely dead. If you hope to save it, you may need to chop it completely and hope it will push out new leaves. May take a few months for it to recover. The terrible thing about ivy is if you overwater it, the leaves get crunchy, and if you underwater it the leaves get crunchy. Put it in some bright indirect sun. Good luck!

Doubtful, tbh. :/ Best way to tell if a plant has a chance is to scratch a tiny bit of bark from the stem and if it’s green inside, it can (potentially) be saved. Cut it all the way back, repot in fresh soil as small as is comfortable for the roots, get a grow light if necessary, and only water using the finger test. If it comes back brown, it’s destined for the dump.
