Ladies from the Garden Club of Richmond cowgirled up to experience their spring trip entitled “Garden Blooms, Boots, and Besties as they traveled to “Cowtown” Fort Worth. On the way, they visited Martha’s Bloomers Garden Center in Navasota and the Silos at Magnolia in Waco for a little shopping and lunch. After arriving at the Hotel Drover, located in the 98-acre Fort Worth Stockyards, its two hundred rooms blending historic rustic charm with modern luxury, the ladies relaxed in their rooms, the lobby, or the spacious “Backyard”, an outdoor oasis. They traveled to Joe T. Garcia’s for evening dining and to enjoy the restaurant’s famous fajitas with all the trimmings.
