Hi guys, just wanted to share something that absolutely made my day. 🪴
About two years ago I bought this Hoya Kerrii, fully expecting it to eventually grow into a full plant. After doing some research, I found out that most single-leaf kerriis usually don’t grow because they don’t have a stem node attached. I even repotted it and checked the plant carefully to see if there was any evidence of a stem and there was nothing. So I kind of accepted that it would stay as just a leaf forever.
But I kept it in my east-facing window, fertilized it regularly, and today I noticed an actual stem growing out of the pot!!! I genuinely cannot believe this is happening.
I know it’s a small thing, but this honestly made me so happy since it’s really rare to find these Hoyas with a stem in my area.
