Wanted to try something different and started going down the gardening rabbit hole. My girlfriend and I built a raised planter box and slowly have been adding each weekend..
Posting here primarily for feedback on my blueberry plant.
The container for blueberries was a mix of peat moss, pine bark mulch, and a smidge of perlite. Also added a small pine bark layer on top. 14 gallons for now with the understanding I’ll need to upgrade to a 20 gallon.
The raised box consists of 2 indeterminate tomatoes, sweet basil, a row of green onions, and some marigolds.

Mine are in clay soil with pine needles and I add soil acidifiyer, nitrogen, and I just tried phosphorus so I’m gonna see how it goes. But so far they are great
Make sure to use a fertilizer for acidic loving plants!
Also if you use synthetic fertilizers, avoid any with nitrates for nitrogen as blueberries can’t really process nitrates which can harm them. You’ll instead need synthetic fertilizers with ammonium or urea based nitrogen instead.
There are also organic fertilizers for acid loving plants that work well and will also acidify your potting soil in the process to help keep the pH lower.
