Will be recycling some pavers from a walkway to make a patio in my backyard. I've been having trouble finding inspiration for patterns.
The one pictured is from the Techo-bloc Villagio paver suggested patterns and I think its quite eye catching. But I also think it will need a lot of cutting to square everything off…
Doing big L's seems like a good option too!
Open to any feedback/ideas!

You’re making a patio in your backyard from a walkway but how much do you have? will it be enough for the desired patio size? That’d be my main worry and also kind of give room for a design too. If you know how much extra space you need to fill, you can plan for borders or contrast to enhance any design.
Personally I’d opt for something creative; maybe a tv character, fantasy character or even a phrase. However plain squares with colour contrast are much more pleasing to see, especially with patio furniture and whatnot over them.

A bit like this, just different colours/shapes obviously. For these Pavers I’d probably swap out the dulled ones from the brighter ones. Using the dull to make the squares and line the inside of the squares and the rim of the patio with the brighter ones. Should be able to make about four large squares with distinct space between them using your pavers and space with next to no cutting. It’s just about filling in the spaces between with a nice neutral material that enhances the colours.
Since you’re reusing whatever you have, wouldn’t a random pattern make sense so you dont run out of a certain size?
