lol they are babies, You could cut them down easily and poison the stump with the strongest poison you can get from Bunnings, you may have to reapply the poison for a while as they are hard to kill, eventually the stump will rot and you can just use a pick to get rid of the rest

Saw them as close to the ground as possible. Saw tracks in a cris cross and spray with high concentration round up then cover with back plastic. It needs to be covered and re treated with roundup every 3 to 4 weeks. Eventually the stump will rot and come out in chunks. If you use a stump grinder you will still need to treat with roundup and cover but it shortens the process.

With all the PPE 🧤🥾👓 and a sharp pruning saw take down the tallest canes especially close to the house. Do this annually. Good luck and don’t forget to bleed.
