Guy down the street hired a lawn crew recently. Lost the love of mowing his own yard a year after he bought his ego mower. He made a Facebook marketplace post and posted it up for free. I was the first one to reach out to him and now I have a completely free ego mower! Been on the lookout for a good sale, then this happened. So I’ll use her till she dies! Got a new blade, and she works like new! Very very happy I got this opportunity!

Nice, free is always good. On a side note my local lowes have the 21 inch for 399 minus 100 off and I’m contemplating if I should get it. How does these run? I have roughly 3700sf to mow.

Congrats! FWIW: I’ve had horrible luck with the ego batteries going bad (well taken care of, too!) I was so frustrated at the high cost. I tried a cheaper knock off from Amazon and oh my gosh- night and day. I can do both front and back lawns on one charge where it took two charges or two batteries before. I can also buy 4 of them for the cost of one ego battery.
So if you run into issues with the ego batteries – do give the knock offs a try. I wish I had done so sooner.
Just scored one for $60 myself! Charger, battery, bag, and mulch kit. I couldn’t say no to that deal. Free is amazing though.
