Should I plant these deeper? Can I cut and make another plant? Is it even worth it to?

Weather is crappy but turns around this weekend so I’ll probably just plant today but unsure of what to do!

This is an automatic reminder regarding r/dahlias Rule 3:

When reasonable*, posters should make a good-faith effort to identify which variety/varieties are shown in their photo(s). If you don’t know for certain, please say so. Someone will usually know!

*Common-sense exceptions to this rule will be honored, such as if the photo does not contain a blossom, or if your photo contains large volumes (such as in wide field shots).

If you’ve already done this, thank you! No further action required.

If not, please add a reply to this comment and confirm if you know the name of your dahlia variety/varieties shown in the photo(s). Alternately, if you’re uncertain of the variety name(s), it’s ok to say that, too.

I’m not sure with tubers because they’re my least favorite but with my three tubers I potted I had them laying sideways instead of up straight and the stems are growing up straight so I think it’ll be fine. My tubers already had growth so I planted them as far as I could to keep the growth exposed

Just plant them normally… with stalk out

I normally pop them off and place them in most potting soil and place them under grow lights. Now I have an extra plant and the tubers get planted after since they send out more shoots.
