Which flower is this? (Datura?)


Is this Datura a.k.a Devils trumpet?

If not, how can I identify actual datura?

    Brugmansia, South American tree cousin of datura. Datura’s flowers point upward.

    You can remember this to tell them apart: Angel’s trumpets (Brugmansia) point down from heaven; devil’s trumpets (Datura) point up from hell.

    Another difference besides the flowers is that Brugmansia grows into a small to medium sized tree (woody stems), and Datura is a non-woody shrub.
