Got this plant as a xmas gift and have been guessing on the care which worked pretty well until I repotted it. It got SO upset. Lost a few leaves and still droopy even though it’s been 3 weeks. I only repotted it because it was in a decorative pot with no drainage hole but maybe it was just happier there 😭 I also don’t know if I’m not giving it enough water or too much; I water once a week.

That is indeed an AV. It doesn’t look super happy but that’s ok. The soil needs more perlite; AVs need a lighter soil mix to keep the roots from rotting. It also should be in a smaller pot for the same reason.
