I’ve bought this pingu 2 weeks ago, tried to pick the healthiest one in the shop. I don’t think it had any rotten leaves at that moment. It been sitting in conservatory next to window, but no direct light – there’s been a few sunny days, but that corner gets only morning light and a bit evening light. What can I do to make it feel better? She seems to start growing flower, but I’m not sure as the bottom leaves are just dying off. Never had pingus before, so not sure what to do.

My pings do this as well. I think it’s generally pretty natural so long as it’s just the bottom ones. I’ve known people to clean out the dead leaves once their done. I will of I’m fussing but generally just let them do their thing. I think they might do this because many times their substrates will stay moist, and if the leaves are resting on the moisture, they might rot. I’ve kept them in peat and moss and they always do that.
It’s not wise to grow tropical Pinguicula in peat moss. The growth point is indicative of a plant that has pests. I would advise treating with bio advanced 3 in 1 and quarantine from other plants you may have nearby.
