Hi everyone! I bought this baby Alocasia dragon scale albo a week or two ago, and it has been trying to push out new leaves, but it looks like the first two attempts weren't viable, third attempt and it's finally a viable leaf. I have many other alocasias at home and have never seen this happen, other then with my sprouting corms. Does anyone know the cause of this? The dragon scale albo is still in the plant nursery's pot and soil, I've been letting it acclimate to my home before repotting it. I've also been keeping it in a humidity cabinet since it's just a baby. Any thoughts appreciated!! Thanks.

Where are you seeing non-viable attempts to push out a leaf? Did they rot? Have they been removed?
