In the first of his #MakeAMetreMatter updates, Chris Packham, Chief Ecologist at Ecotalk, marks out a metre at Bowyers Wood in Sussex. At this 250-acre semi-ancient woodland, Ecotalk is enhancing the site through soil restoration, careful planting and ongoing habitat management.

Stay tuned to see his plans for his metre at home, and at Downicary in Devon, where Ecotalk is restoring over-grazed land to wet woodland.
