    The first plant :

    * The bottom part of the first plant is in the green pot (a bud is growing but a very slow rate).
    * The top part of the first plant was moved to the gray pot after multiple roots grew to 5cm of length (2 small leaves have grown since.
    * The 2 cutting I had initially potted in soil have both molded and failed miserably.

    The second plant :

    * I made 2 cuttings, both water propagated this time. One is growing a bud and some tiny roots, the other is slow in comparison, only growing a tiny bud that has gone dormant for a while now (the cutting still look very much healthy).
    * The top part is in the glass pot and is growing roots same as the first plant.
    * Bottom part remained in the gray pot and growing 2 buds.

**My biggest issue now is that my soil is very bad**, it’s dense and holds water for too long, surface mold shows and recently **fungus gnats** have started spawning … all of which I think stunts the growth of all my plants. I just started reading about plant specific soils and bought some perlite and pine bark to create a better mix but ChatGPT recommends I don’t repot any of the plants as they are in a fragile state currently.

My goal is to group everything in a single pot and create a dense plant but that will have to wait some months I suppose.

**Let me know what you guys think about the soil situation, I would appreciate some advise. Thank you**
