SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – The cold weather is hopefully behind us, and the Minnehaha Master Gardeners are hoping to help people get a head start on their spring planting.

All sorts of finds went on sale for this year’s Plant Sale out at the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds.

You could find almost everything there on Saturday, from vegetables, annuals, perennials, shrubs, vines, and more. The sale has been going on for 35 years, and every year, people make a day out of it.

“A lot of people buying plants for their moms. We had a lot of beautiful annuals and flowers. A lot of people buying for their vegetable garden content. Tomatoes, peppers, rhubarb, herbs. We have a lot of people that come and are landscaping their yard, which is fun, because you can just do it on a dime,” said Cami Jacobsen with Minnehaha Master Gardeners.

The sale went on until all of the plants were sold.
