In today’s video, I’m walking you through everything I’ll be growing in my 2026 garden – from veggies and fruits to herbs, in raised beds and containers. I’m sharing what’s going in raised beds and what I’ll grow in containers on my deck.
whether you’re planning your own garden or just love seeing what others are growing, I hope this gives you inspiration and ideas for your 2026 garden.
In this video, I cover:
– Veggies I’m growing (tomatoes, greens, root crops, etc.).
– Herbs I can’t live without.
– Fruit I’m growing: Berries and fruit trees, and my quest to grow cantaloupe
– New varieties I’m excited to try, including some new greens in my quest to find a green that grows well in the summer months (that’s not swiss chard).
– What goes in raised beds vs containers.

Happy New Year! I’m looking forward to a new growing season too. Have you any plans for a rhubarb patch? It’s so easy to grow.
What a difference location can make. You have a good variety, it looks like. I've tried Bluelake beans with no luck and I can only grow lettuce in early spring or late fall. I've ordered my seeds but they haven't come in yet. Good luck with all of your gardening adventures.
