Got this fiddle leaf for free. It was very spindly so I chopped the tops into two cuttings and propagated them. I waited a bit to water it because i wasn’t sure how recently it had been watered before i got it. When I did water it the other day, I gave it a really good watering and let excess drain out. Also added a grow light since the window it’s in front of gets good light but is small. I have not yet repotted it into a pot with better drainage/good soil but planning to do soon. But i’m seeing the discoloration and marks as shown in the first few photos. Does this look like bugs to you, or just stress from the inconsistent watering/chopping/adjustment to new environment? I looked very closely and i don’t see anything crawling around, but im a really new plant owner and not sure how hard they would be to see…

Fwiw the cuttings look fine as far as i can tell.

Thanks in advance for any help!
