I tried delaying this for as much time as I could, because I knew this propagation is going to make my sphagnum moss basically untouchable for the next few weeks or months. Anyway, the stalks had gotten around 15cm long, so I decided I couldn't let them get and longer than that. So the cutting of the flower stalks began, and they turned out to be around 60, much more than I anticipated. So I cut them all into sections of around 2/3cm and placed them horizontally on the sphagnum moss (I read the chances of successful propagation are higher this way). I tried making sure they all had good contact with the moss, and finally I placed the whole box in my new Nepenthes frame, so hopefully both the sphagnum and the cuttings will thrive in the warm temperature and very high humidity. I'll try to post updates if anyone's interested! Wish me luck guys, because in the past I didn't have much luck with this kind of propagation 😅
