This flower pattern is so odd. I know that chimeric and harlequin phals can display similar characteristics to this, but what is up with all the striping, striations ? The closest matching image I found was from the sub and suggested it may be a virus ?

They are called chimera orchids! Very rare, it will always bloom like this. Enjoy it, I am searching for one every day. They are extremely rare, this us a genetic instability in ehich the flowers have 2 different flower patterns and have to combine them in 1 flower
