Hey everyone. I’m new to the world of monsteras. Just picked one up a couple of days ago and I’m so excited to learn more about these.

In researching I’ve already learned that there is a front and a back. Sounds like some people bracelet them and encourage them to grow tall, while others allow them to bush out a little more.

My space is a little constrained, so my plan is to buy a moss pole and have it grow taller and more structured.

I’m having trouble identifying the front and back though, and wonder if there is even more than one plant here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, you have multiple plants jn that pot. You need to decide which plant to keep. (If you decided you can split them apart). The back is the side

  2. The front is usually where the leaves at facing and the back is where the areal roots are. It’s easy, all the leaves should face to one side usually. But I agree, you should separate the plants now-ish and pot them separately or just keep one.
