I really want to thank you all so much as well for all the donations i have received with the GoFundMe. It went so much better than i could have ever thought and i am just absolutely shocked!! I’m looking everyday now for a better ute and i am so excited to find something and show you all!
About a week ago i received a phone call from a lovely lady called Qing. She got my number from Gary who’s yard i worked on about 4 or 5 episode ago on the channel! And after calling me and asking for help i told her i was happy to come and meet her and have a look at the yard.
So as soon as i finished last weeks job i headed to her property to meet her and take a look at the place! Her english was not the best and she thought she would be paying me. When i said it was free she was very hesitant! But i told her it would save me a lot of driving around and she also offered to buy me a skip bin as well as cooking me dinner every night that i was there! Which was absolutely delicious!!
She had struggled to find a gardener to come and clean this place up and over the years decided something needed to be done and i was happy to do it for her! Now that this place is looking better she plans on getting a lawn installed and some hedges put in along the fence line out the front!
We took on some tough kikuyu, deeply rooted weeds and a very messy nature strip! Some tree cutting and hand pulling as well as working on a variety of plants in this yard! It was also right across the road from a beautiful public square with a beautiful garden inside so the house needed the makeover badly!
Thank you all so much for watching and supporting the channel it means a lot to be able to provide free garden work to people in my community because of all of you around the world!
Its crazy!!
Thank you again and see you out in the garden!
Guillaume

Could the burgundy plant be a Loropetalum?
I have a reciprecater saw love it gets the job done.
This is one of the most beautiful houses, that I have seen on a garden clean up channel! Guillaume, you made it shine. The householder really deserved the help. She was gracious and kind. Well done! Enjoyed the video. 😃🥰
35:50 It might be a loropetalum.
👏👏👏 excellent Guillaume❣💯👋👋👋
Don’t put your chain in the dirt. It dulls it immediately. Get a reciprocating saw to use on roots in the ground. You can sharpen the chain with a file for that purpose or take it to someone who sharpens chains. I wouldn’t leave the gas can in the street or
on the sidewalk.
Another beautiful job the garden looks fantastic. I have a Jacaranda in my front yard over 35 years old. People always stop and take pictures of it when in flower, some even knock on my and ask if they can go on my lawn and take a pic for them in front of the tree. I also have one in my back yard which my Grandsons love to climb. Did you look under your car seats for your brush? CYA next week!
Love your work G 👏🏼
What a beautiful home…. so deserving of your magic touch and the awesome transformation. I was excited to hear you talk about the nightshade plants and the nicotine as all nightshade plants have nicotine which is very good for you healthwise as the brain has a nicotine receptor and I believe due to research studies that it helps prevent dimentia. Love hearing all the knowledge you bring to us each week.
May God continue to bless you and keep you safe through another week 🙏🙏💜💜
The burgundy tree looks like Loropetalum Chinense
Pulling the vines was soooooooo satisfying Guillaume, beautiful reset for Ching and family. Thanks Guillaume, stay well 💚🐝
If we all mentioned ‘ The Garden Rescue’ on the other channels, this would help him gain more subscribers.. he certainly deserves more..❤
That lawn needs a lot more soil, those pavers should be surrounded by grass, not air. Great job as always Guillaume. I'm always amazed at the beautiful homes in your neck of the woods that no-one seems to care about, and the monstrous back yards. Will keep you in employ for a good many years yet. Long may you upload. 😅
I absolutely love the old Adelaidian houses from the 1920s and 1930s . They have a timeless elegance to them and you certainly have done justice to their beauty. .😊
I think you should keep the go fund me going till you can get a trailer as well.
Terrific job! Get that edger out first, it makes everything go faster and the edges look nicer.
G please make sure you bring All your Equipment into where you are working their might be some light fingered people out there saying that you do the best work cheers
Beautiful home….beautiful job!!
You do know that you have to sharpen the chain on your pole saw and that cutting into the dirt will only ever blunt it?
Milles bravos 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great one G..very unusual design . Especially the lawns..garden lookd amazing when you had finished 🎉
Protect your ears! Mowers make a lot of noise and if you use them often you will be getting deaf, dear. Xox
I was totally stressing those edges! Then you said -chill, I got this…😂 Awesome work & awesome video.
That purple burgundy plant/scrub looks like a Chinese Fringeflower (Loropetalum chinense) In dutch we call it Heksenstruik. To much shade makes it green.
У вас такие дома хорошенькие.просто прелесть.как мини замки.
What a lovely neighborhood. Especially with the garden across the street. You’ll bring the house up to the standard of the others. What a nice job
👍🏼
Great job
❤ l see ur a "Magpie Whisper" & can charm th birds from th trees 😁🤗 & even get them to stay for the
"after shots" 😁🩷
Awesome job! In cutting the China berry bush, or any bushes you can't dig the root up, they make a liquid stump remover that might be good to use.
You did a perfect job, I think the owner will love it. Thank you
C'est beau ! Nice neat transformation 👍Always love The Bird Buffets & Magpie arrivals/ conversations. Power brush would help there, but only pressure washing will eliminate that mud stain. (Add washer to wish list?)
Big WAI from Thailand 🙏😺
💚
Guillaume that garden looks beautiful again. I didn’t know that about Wisteria as most of rural cottages have that growing around their front door although it does look so pretty when in flower. The magpies over they’re so much nicer than ours who make these like clicking and cawing noises. I don’t know about your dustpan and brush being left behind or lost may be a brighter colour might help! Love how you do a lot of hand weeding, pruning and trimming back shrubs. That little mower is excellent to use. I’m glad Chang looked after you so well and I bet you had some lovely meals cooked by her. Thanks for sharing love from the UK xxx
Ps sometimes I swear I can hear chickens clucking in the background! Xxx
In ur spare time if u have any have u thought in writing a book with the pictures of the plants not only naming them but explaining everything about them ? For sure I would buy it
Amazing job thank you 🎉
Beautiful Guillaume! Lovely house and when planted out the garden will look gorgeous. 👍🏻
My grandmother is from Adelaide, then she got married and migrated to England, it's such a lovely thing to think she may have walked those streets and seen the gardens your bringing back to life, I hope one day I'll get to come over and see them for myself ❤ never stop what you're doing, your helping to make this world a better place ❤
My grandmother was from Unley Adelaide is that anywhere near where you do your gardens ❤
I love your videos, giving explanations about plants and wildlife. You work so hard. I'm from the South of England!!
Don't forget to get a Ute with a hitch so we can do another go fund me to get a trailer, like Aidan has, would make life so much easier on you ❤
Hello my skinky 🦎 winky loving dinky 🧸 😂 sorry I’m late to the party 🥳 ❤with my comment but I’ve been as busy as a blue a$$ fly 🪰 😅 what a lovely makeover and I’m happy you had some home cooked meals 🥘 😊 see you soon mon Ami 😊❤
