Is that a keiki attempt with a flower? This stalk bloomed once about 3-4 flowers but then stopped growing rest of the buds. I snipped the tip after waiting a few months without any further growth. Stalk remained green entire period. It now developed this single flower bud with some tiny leaves.

Yup. Keiki with one flower. Allow the keiki to grow roots and bigger leaves before you try to remove it
