I’m currently smashing these with my feet because they are hard as rocks and nothing else will break them(hence the ziplock on my shoe 😭).
Is there a different way to break these down or am I doomed to squishing these all day?
Tumbler. Hot outside. Worms added. & Yes I probably put way too much carbon in.

I have the same situation in my spinner not sure what to do!
I just found out about these and these. Someone else in this subreddit calls them “sticky balls” so that’s what I’m calling them now.
Compost is too wet and there is too much spinning. The stickey balls build up like a snowball rolling down a hill. People suggested only spinning twice a week and adding more browns.
Sooo you’re not supposed to actually spin your tumbler, you know. Just turn maybe 120-180 degrees every few days. Like turning your compost pile, you don’t centrifuge it!
I turn my spinner a full 3-4 rotations on one random day about every 2 months. Only in the summer.
Gotta let the good bugs, fungi, and bacteria in there work their magic undisturbed. If I notice that the kitchen scraps and paper towels I’m adding on top have covered up the good stuff below, that’s when I spin. I check to make sure it’s kinda mixed up, then I only open the lid to add more stuff again.
I’d suggest giving them a good wack with a shovel, if that somehow doesn’t break it maybe just bury them so their still doing their thing while not being a bother anymore
Load them puppies up in the sling shot and shoot em into the cement lol. Or a 4×8 sheet of plywood.
i’m sorry I can’t help but the ziplock over the sandal is sending me 😂
