Hello I have a succulent that has brown stems and dying leaves I’ve been trying to regrow it dealing with root rot. I cut off the roots and sstarted watering for a week or so again. let it outside today to dry but it started raining and I had to take it out. Doesn’t seem to have any progress. What can I do to save her
It’s a indoor plant that gets plenty of light inside but I take it outside this one time and the soil got drenched I had to take it out
Thank you

It looks like you may be asking about a cactus or succulent. In addition to any advice you receive here, please consider visiting r/cactus r/succulents for more specialized care advice.
A common problem with cacti and succulents is etiolation. This is when a succulent stretches or becomes leggy. Reply with “!etiolation” for advice.

You can’t
Baby I’m sorry, he’s gone
You’re kidding, the soul has already left the body
So for your next plant – keep in mind that many of the succulents from big box retail stores are not planted in the ideal soil for succulents. They are planted in organic heavy soils (think lots of peat moss) so that they can survive for months without being watered. That soil really retains water. Then you end up over watering.
Then sometimes they are not watered for so long that the little roots die but the plant is a succulent so it still looks fine. So you take it home and water it every couple weeks but the soil retains water and the dead parts of the roots rot and cause the rest to rot too.
So until you are familiar with how to judge the watering of a succulent you probably want to repot with a soil mix that contains maybe 50 percent soil and 50 percent inorganic like vermiculite or chicken grit.
Or just not water much at all, maybe once a month or 6 weeks you give a good soak in the original pot.
But it’s not always your fault if you get them from big box or retailers that don’t know about succulents.
It’s over bro
Oh no.
Dead succulent*
Oh my indeed.
Bro I’ve never seen something so dead lol
Correction: dead succulent
Urgent? Like it JUST got this bad? That things been through hell and back. Then off to heaven. At least purgatory. It had the green straight beat out of it. The last whisp of life left long before the last whisp of hope, which was far too delayed in its passing. Now its soul is looking down, embarrassed to be laying so naked and bare on a dry terracotta death bed hoping its ex doesn’t ever see it in this state.
Sorry for your loss.
Baby its gone
