GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – The Green Bay Botanical Garden celebrated Mother’s Day by making Sunday all about the moms.
As part of “Moms & Mimosas”, moms were able to enjoy the gardens for free and enjoyed treats from vendors in the park.
The event happened during a special and beautiful time for the garden, with moms getting to see more than 350,000 spring blooms during their visits.
One family says they’ve made it a tradition to go to the botanical garden every year for Mother’s Day.
“We’ve been coming since she was born,” said Sandy Marotz of Green Bay.
“Taking all sorts of pictures and stuff,” said Cailin Grant of De Pere.
“We have many, many, many garden memories,” said Marotz.
