

This is from my silver sword, but two other of my plants all have leaves that look just like this, with the almost clear/translucent leaves.
To satisfy posting rules: They get lots of light in south facing windows, watered when soil is pretty dry, thought I’m wondering if even that’s too often lol. Mostly just curious about what makes the leaves look like that

Leaf senescence
Individual leaves live for only 3-6 months, then Mother Nature moves many of the nutrients to other parts of the plant, then the leaf turns yellow, then the leaf turns brown and then falls off naturally. Over-watering and under-watering can accentuate the process.
