Frog. Keep an eye out or spray a little water in that area at night and it’ll pop out for you
It could be a number of things, but we have a similar burrow under our driveway and we have a lot of armadillo activity in our yard so we’re thinking it’s home to an armadillo family. Side note: We were awoken in the middle of the night to splashing sounds in our pool and it was an armadillo swimming around and living his/her best life. We didn’t know they could swim.
Armadillo. We have a little dude who did this under our shed.
I’ve had skunks, raccoons, armadillos, and ground squirrels all try to live underneath the stairs of our house by digging holes.

I just relocated a skunk that had taken up residence under my front stairs.
