Hello, does anyone have a suggestion or idea for how I can repot my snake plant into this wicker basket? I currently have the plant in a small enough pot that I can slide it into the basket but I want to give the plant more space and have had trouble finding a larger container that I can transfer it to that will still be small enough to slide into the basket. I am curious if anyone has tried lining a wicker basket with a plastic bag or other material that will work? I do have really large grow bags that maybe I can cut and sew to a smaller bag to go inside, has anyone tried that and does it work?

I have a couple of plants in baskets and I basically just have a saucer tucked at the bottom to catch any leaks (I take them out to water). In some of ones I’ve seen for sale specifically for plants they’ll have a plastic liner which might also be an option?

Whatever you use will need to come out to water. Wicker will rot if it’s exposed to moisture

Wicker rots if it comes into contact with moisture. I would not put a plant in that

Why would you not just keep it in a plastic pot and set it inside?
