Hey everyone! New to plants (only about 6 months now). I started with spiders and succulents and fell in love! Yesterday I picked up a Hoya! Never even heard of this plant but it's so pretty and the flowers look so interesting! This one was labeled as a sunrise. Any tips for a beginner?

Hoya Sunrise, very lovely easy Hoya to start with. Mine is blooming and full of peduncles.

Excellent starter Hoya, just started stressing my cutting to see how well I could turn it, but advice is allow soil to dry between watering, like water weekly or bi weekly depending on your “soil”, to get the color put in bright light and you should be good to go! Light stressed cutting picture.

Ok sounds good! The nursery had it planted in pretty “organic” would. Should I mix it with some succulent mix?
