That Mesto sprayer is amazing! I’m stoked for that! Question about the boxwoods on the west side. Have you thought about giving them a hard prune like you did the ?sprinters? On the other side of the house?? Like a rejuvenation prune to maybe get rid of the spider mite damage and create stronger branching. Right now would be perfect timing before the heat for a hard prune right?
I planted Gaura from seed for the first time but did not correctly label the seeds so I wasn’t sure what the seedling looked like once it sprouted. I searched your video’s and got my answer. I found it on a video from 5 years ago. Benjamin was soooo small. Still looks the same. Also, looking back at what your garden was then compared to how you have designed it now. WOW, YOU DEFINITELY HAVE A GREAT VISION. Love, love, love what you have done!!
20:00 awh that reminds me of the cats here. I have 1 cat who just appeared one day in my appartment some years ago when she was barely old enough to be away from her mum, but now shes a few years old and a bully in the neighbourhood. I have several of strays and other peoples cats visiting and she hates most of them, except for this one black cat, every other cat she will jump 😂
Our avg precip used to be … 8" per yr. NOW, for many years, it's 4"… For reference: Raleigh NC, avg annual precip 44" (heaven).
For ONTARIO OREGON:
Key Precipitation Data for Ontario, OR:
Average Annual Precipitation: ~9.5–10 inches.
Average Annual Snowfall: ~12–16 inches.
Wettest Month: December (~1.46 inches).
Driest Month: July/August (<0.2 inches.
The region sees precipitation on roughly 60–70 days per year, with significantly higher precipitation in winter compared to the dry summer season. (Laura & Aaron: Is the above info accurate for you?)
Agreed with Aaron, it's actually a smart idea for shorter videos on highlights especially for us because we are using Laura for education purposes (only) 😂 and sometimes we need something quick to share with others. Also for people like us fans, that like to watch every single video but sometimes we wanna go back and looks for something Laura did or said.
Naturally, my home, a detached condo (will never buy another HOA property again, EVER), it's sited so that the accessible/windowed sides are South, West, front garden Northwest…
The entire BEST SIDE, East, is no windows, solid walls, 12' space, and a concrete sidewalk poured RIGHT UP AGAINST tge foundation, around the whole house. (If I coukd get my hands on the architect who built this development, and sited my home, the Model Home, 1st one built — there's no telling what he would hear out if me — it was a He)
Anybody else having trouble accessing the garden answer website? It’s not been working for quite some time. This is what I get…Website Can’t Be Reached This site may be temporarily down or it may have Moved permanently to a new web address
Whoever you work with sponsor wise i will buy! I have so many plants and accessories because of you guys. I appreciate that you only sponsor or recommend things you know are good!
The cat that Douglas will not go by has RABIES! RABIES attacks the central nervous system. NEED TO GET RID OF HIM!!! CALL ANIMAL CONTROL IF AVAILABLE!!! LOVE Your podcast! Stay safe!!!
The Strait of Hormuz was closed shortly after we bombed Iran. The USA threatened Iran with total annihilation. They reacted as has been predicted for 40 yrs. This is WHY we didn't bomb them before. Hardliners in Israel wanted it; not the population there.
This is WHY the JCPOA was worked on so hard, with over 2 months negotiation. JCPOA needed to be built upon, not scrapped.
Shortly before this war was launched, Iran offered MORE concessions, re: uranium enrichment, to the USA than Obama had gotten from them. Trump would have been a hero. Trump said NO, and bombed.
Upcoming: An OIL SHOCK that will make 2008 look insignificant.
The fossil fuel industry, long ago, invested in developing as many products as possible to be made FROM their "black gold" (for them, it was).
Fertilizer, plastics, things you can't even imagine — prices will skyrocket for everyone.
Severe shortages predicted: Oil, diesel (jet fuel), gasoline, Helium (used to make semiconductors, in MRI's); aluminum comes thru there.
Famine is predicted, including in the USA, rising utilities costs, & fuel prices — causing all prices to rise. Ignoring this doesn't make it go away.
For every DAY the Strait is closed, it's supposed to take a WEEK to clear supply chain issues. (170 weeks, pessimistically)
We're looking at a possible 2-3 yr change in lifestyle. For the world. Because of this war.
I just bought a Vego and have a Hose Link because of your recommendations but understand the sponsorship may not be there for you but I will compare on my own! Thanks for all your hard work to make your channel wonderful and I look forward to 6 days a week!💚

You were talking about the cats. Where is Russell? He was not mentioned and I’ve not seen him in a long time. Can you update us please?
Regarding crabapple trees beware that you don’t trim too much or you will have a nightmare of suckers!

I'm envious of any region where you GET rain!

I'm a huge lord of the rings fan, and I am so impressed that Aaron collects the swords 😊
EVERYONE:
This is a great year to grow your FOOD!

Happy Mothers' Day to both you & your mother! 😀
Did you get a plant for Mother’s Day? ☺️
Frontgate is a QUALITY source.
I love starting my days with your show. 😊. Have you thought about growing the formal garden flowers on an angle? It might look more even.
Mother's Day wishes to you Laura
Suggestion on your GA website is to have a place where you can be notified if an item is back in stock❤
Aaron and Laura thanks for another great recap video.
Yes that is a great way to break down the videos for reference!
I think you may have to get used to Oak leaves hanging on. Every Oak tree in Michigan holds its leaves all the way through Spring….every single one!
I have always been able to find a video I needed to rewatch for a specific reasons. Don’t make extra work if it will take away from your “real” life.
