After a year of focusing on the “bones” of our 1980s Welsh bungalow — the heating, the roof, solar and batteries — it’s finally time for the back garden.
And it needs work. An old oil tank dominating the corner. Rotten handrails. Tired gutters. A space that doesn’t come close to matching the life we moved to South West Wales to live.
In this video we’re showing you everything we’ve done to clear it and get it to a blank canvas — ready to build the outdoor space we’ve always imagined.

Defo a scented garden. There’s nothing nicer than sitting outside with beautiful aromas from your plants. You can put a lot in pots too. Well that’s what I’ve done on mine
