I fell in love with the pink princess…and therefore fell for the trap of buying a cheap baby with no real clue if it would give variegation to the level I found the plant attractive.

Lesson has been learnt. Also I won’t lie, at this point I consider this thing to be akin to a plant you’d find on an alien landscape and I sort of hate it.

At the same time, I consider myself to be responsible for it….therefore the school of “if it doesn’t give you joy, bin it” doesn’t sit well with me when it comes to plants (while everything else is fair game!). So I figure finding a way to love it more is the way to go…

Question then is, the more mature parts have pretty much lost variegation but there seems to be some lower areas on a new branch that have more. Can I just chop off the higher branch and that would result in it focusing on the secondary growth point? Is there anything else to consider?
