Recently bought a lot that has this behemoth of an oak on it. Really hoping its healthy, just starting to bud and turn green. Has some larger dead branches in it. So long as it's not in the way of the house, do we think it's healthy enough to stay? We're really hoping to keep it.

It’s nowhere near anything so even if it’s dead you don’t have to do anything, dead trees are incredibly valuable ecologically. Many oaks often leaf out slower than other species as well
