Please see attached pictures, I got thjs stuff growing in the bush beside my house, looks to be suffocating the saplings and tress, what is it and how to get rid of it?

    I think its asparagus fern.. if so awful with big thorns so be carefull

    Yeah it’s asparagus fern. Yes it’s invasive. Hopefully someone has some tips to help with removal.

    It will turn thorny and be your worst night mare. When they are taken out of pots and grow in the wild they revert to their nasty type.

    It’s an absolute bastard.

    Repeated dose with glyphosphate. It’s the only thing I use poison on. You can get it under control eventually (brush it on the leaves, add some detergent to the mix).
    Don’t neglect it or it will take over.
