Join me for an early-season spring garden tour on my Iowa farm, before the perennials are in full bloom and while the garden is just beginning to wake up. I’m sharing updates on my perennial pathway garden, new planting projects, vegetable garden plans, asparagus and rhubarb harvests, plus practical tips for low-maintenance gardening, mass planting, and spring cleanup.

From my farm to your home. 🏡
My name is Kaleb Wyse and here, you will find delicious recipes, videos from my farm, garden, and fun home projects. My knowledge has been earned from years of home cooks and farmers in my family. https://wyseguide.com
A farm is much more than a house to live in; it’s a lifestyle. My passion for gardening and landscaping came from outdoor work with my mom in our expansive farm yard, my love for baking came from innumerable short walks to my grandma’s house to make cookies, and as a farmer, my dad taught me that we are the stewards of our land.
So whether you live in a city center or have decided rural life is for you, I hope to inspire you with the projects and recipes I use in daily life. We can’t all live on a farm, but we all need farms in our lives. From the dirt in my vegetable garden to the flour in my kitchen, I’ll show you everything I love to do.

Thank you for this bare-bones tour! Here in Alberta, we’re a month behind you in the season. Our little foothills valley is a zone 2/3, so I’m always amazed at what you can grow and how much longer your season is.
Nice to see what's happening at your place.
For being one person not only gardening but landscaping your large yard you keep it up great. Of course you're still young. I love your tours. Keep loving your yard and cooking. ❤
OMG it looks like you are out in the middle of nowhere 😵💫
My BEST tool to buy myself some time was deploying robot lawnmowers. Saves me hours and hours every week. Time spent tending to the ornamentals. 😊
Hello Caleb! Happy Spring! Just want to let you know my peonies are in bloom and gorgeous here in Virginia! I also baked your grandma's burnt butter banana bread last night and it is delicious!(I like it better than my original recipe!)❤
Beautiful and can't wait to see in full bloom. Getting ready to plant my Karl Forster grasses. My first time with them. And I have my bio tone at the ready. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us. See you on the next video.
Gardening is the best free therapy ever!
Loved the early tour! In Colorado we had a non-existent winter, pretty much no snow and even in the mountains. Then all of a sudden last week we had 6-9 inches of heavy wet snow. Yes we desperately needed the water but a lot of damage happened. I bagged up most of my flowers, tons of work before the storm hit. My black eyed susans did not reseed probably because of no moisture and several things did not come back. We lost a ton of branches on our huge Maple tree and are waiting for the chipper company to come. This has been a tough winter and spring so far and we are not in the hail season yet! But, all of us gardeners are troopers and will just figure out a new plan to move forward!
