I think I broke these off while moving a couple of plants. Will single tubers like this grow? They’re in good shape, not soft. And are they the right way up for planting?
Thanks!

Maybe the middle one. The other two are a lost cause.

They look like blind tubers, they won’t grow. The tuber itself is just energy storage, they need a piece of the crown and an eye to grow. They will just rot in the ground but if you want to plant them, just stick them down 6” horizontally. If there’s any hidden eyes they will find their way up.

1. Not a chance. 2. MAYBE. 3. Hell no.

They need three things to be viable. A piece of the crown, an unbroken knock and the tuber.
Possibly the middle one will grow.
